[url removed, login to view] has a backend administration page where lien orders are processed and kept organized. We have a few problems that need to be fixed, and a few additional features we'd like added. The page will require further work in the future, and we're looking to develop a relationship with a coder to do further work.
**Problem**: Admin Configuration allows administrator to create new "order status" that can be assigned to each project. However, added status cause the data to "jumble," and in all, does not work.
**Solution**: We need coder to fix erros on the configuration page, so that we can properly add new status types to the database.
**Problem**: When order is placed or status is changed, a pre-drafted "form" email should be sent to the user. The email, however, is not being sent 100% of the time, and it is unprofessional.
**Solution:** We would like:
1. Coder to fix the error, so that emails assigned to the "status" are sent 100% of the time;
2. An "email configuration page," so we can stipulate the "sent from" email address, the "reply to" email address, etc.
3. Email should be HTML, and not text, so we can give it a professional look & feel. Email Config page should allow admin to create an HTML template, and each status should have associated "text" that is placed into the HTML email and sent upon status change.
**Problem**: The email is supposed to be saved in a "mail log." This does not work well, and it is not set up to make it useful.
**Solution**: Currently, all emails sent automatically are recorded in one Mail Log page. This should be changed. We should have a "Mail Log" tab on each project within the project management interface. The emails sent to the particular client in regards to the particular project should be recorded on this Mail Log page. It should also record the time and date when the email was sent.
Note, that we have an admin login and a client login. The Mail Log tab should be added to both logins so both client and admin can see the emails sent by the system.
