This is for use on FXDD Metatrader4.
I need an audible alert the instant price crosses a trendline. I do not wait for price to close on the other side of the trendline. I use a Ray or extended right trendline option.
I monitor 16 different markets (which is 16 different charts) with 2 trendlines armed to alert on each chart most of the time. I will have other trenldines on the charts which I do not want to be effected by the alarms. Also I do not want this to effect the colors of the unarmed trendlines. I want to be able to choose the color of the armed trendlines.
I want to be able to choose my own audible wav files for the 16 different charts. Both armed trendlines on each chart will have the same alarm.
Once I arm the trendline I will usually leave it on the chart most of the time simply adjusting it from time to time. I want it to remain armed even after I have adjusted the trendline. I would like to NOT have to go back and re-arm the trendline after I move it since it is easy to forget to do this.
I would like a visual pop up alert which I can choose as an option if I wish or I can leave it off.
In some cases trendline names are required to identify each trendline. I do not want lengthy trendline names to appear on the chart. If a name must be used on the trendline make it as short as possible such as a simple 1, 2, 3, or 4 etc. if possible.
I have heard doing this on 16 charts with 2 lines on each chart may slow down my computer. If this is going to be a problem please let me know. Currently I am using a 6 year old Dell and have no problems running 2 charting programs and a trading platform as well as a few other things at the same time. I will want to run this on a new imac I will be purchasing soon also.
