This spec is for a website that will allow interpreters to enter a log of their billable time thru a web interface. It will make use of dropdown selections to minimize data entry errors. It will consist of approximately 10 web pages for data entry and review and the MySQL database will require approximately 10 main tables.
The program will run on a linux based system and use MySQL to hold the data.
The program will also be able to take selected entries from the tables and upload them to an ftp site as a .csv file.
The attached zip file has a Doc file with full specs and an Excel file with mockup pages.
In the doc file, I have made comments of how I envision things with grids, dropdowns, buttons, and tables for DB storage. However, I am open to suggestions on different ways to do things as long as the basic look-and-feel is fairly similar.
In the excel file that gives a rudimentary graphic representation as to how the pages should look. This is a guideline, not set in stone, so there is some flexibility in that. Also, excel is not the best prototyping tool for Web stuff, so I can’t show everything exactly as I’d like it.
In your bid proposal, please indicate what development tool you will be using.
I have attached a zip file with complete specifications in an MS-Word .doc fila and an Excel .xls file.
Acceptance will be based on adherence to these specifications.
