Ruby on Rails/WCF project

I am looking for the best, most supportable technique to hit a MIcrosoft WCF service from a Rails application.? The deliverable would be a very simple Rails app that can hit such a service with a SOAP request and very importantly return detailed error messages. Currently we have an application using the Savon Gem - everything works fine but getting Savon to give us the details from the services server is where I am hoping to get help. A successful project need not use? Savon, but if not Savon I need some SOAP client that lets me send xml to a microsoft service (where I can customize the xml by hand if need be) and then return error details. I believe Savon can do this, I am simply looking to save time by getting a working example of error trapping.? We are returning the basic error message, however we are not seeing the full stack trace that comes back from the asp.net server (the error details) in the message, and this is the goal of this project - . You can use Bing's web services? as your test case, or any service - again I need an example of hitting a service, recieving an error, and returning the error AND the error details. ? Whatever method/client you use needs to work according to what I said above - ability to customize the client's submissions to the service etc.? ? ## Deliverables 1) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Employer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the employer on the site per the worker's Worker Legal Agreement). 2) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 3) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Employer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Worker in ready-to-run condition in the Employer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the employer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this project. ## Platform ruby on rails preferably savon gem or something equivalent (SOAP client)
