This is the first time I have looked for paid help with my site. I do all my own php work for myself and clients, but I just don't have the time to do this project that i want done, so that’s why I'm here.
My site is [url removed, login to view] the forums at [url removed, login to view]
The site is run off phpnuke CMS, which has a modified phpbb integrated. My forums have grown to a point where a Hierarchy or sub forums are needed for future growth. The problem is phpbb does not have sub forums. But there is a very large complex mod out for phpbb that allows sub forums among other things. The problem is the author won't port it too phpnuke or allow people to distribute a ported mod. There is a much older version of this mod ported at [url removed, login to view] but I couldn't get it too work with the newer phpbb version.
Now I know it is possible to get the newest CH-Mod and phpnuke to work, I know of 2 sites that have done it, [url removed, login to view] and www.fedtrek.com.
My phpnuke/phpbb forums have many phpbb mods installed and some of my own custom mods, so its highly preferable to get it integrated with the current running forum. But if need be I could start from a fresh install and then redo all my mods... if avoidable i would like it to be.
So for someone to talk on this project they will need knowledge of both phpbb and phpnuke, proof of this knowledge or past experience is required. I think if one understands a bit of both it shouldn't be too hard of a project. I have a dev version of my site that can be used to work on.
Just a note, there isn't a lot of programming or new code for this project, its getting this existing code to work, so modifing parts of the phpbb mod to work intigrated with phpnuke.
