I've been running a dedicated linux webserver for a couple months, and it's suddenly having problems. Yesterday it started sporadically serving very slowly, 20 KBs, rather than it's usual 300+ KBs--sometimes it would serve at normal speed, sometimes it would serve very slowly, randomly. It's still having this behavior today, even after resetting it twice.
A second problem which suddenly appeared this morning is that MySQL is no longer working. My blog returns:
Could not connect to MySQL database.
phpMyWebAdmin returns the error:
#2013 - Lost connection to MySQL server during query
I'd like for someone to diagnose and correct these two problems. I can give you SSH, FTP, and GoDaddy-simple-control-panel access. And no the problem IS NOT that my server is overloaded--it's load varies from 10 - 17, which is quite normal over the past couple months, and I haven't received a sudden spike in visitors in the past two days either. If you think you can figure out, please bid. Good luck!

Hi I can look at the server and ascertain the source of the problem for you, however I cannot guarantee that I can fix it, as it may be dependant on variables outside of my control. Regards, Mark
