Looking for a skilled website designer/programmer to upgrade our existing website www.agcos.ca.
Requirements:
1. Professionalism. Please don't bid if you don't have enough skills or have doubt about completing this project on time.
2. The website is currently static. It was designed using Dreamweaver. It needs to be rebuilt on a dynamic platform (Wordpress, joomla, etc) KEEPING EXISTING DESIGN! You would have to install the platform with all necessary modules and scripts, and copy/recreate all existing pages, images, menu tree structure, and everything else.
3. Create a customer database to give the customers the ability to create personal accounts. Upon signing in the customer would get an access to several extra features, such as manuals, updates, purchase/service history, etc., which are normally not available to regular visitors. So, it's a kind of private area. Another purpose for creating the customer database would be to create a mailing list, so new product updates could be emailed to those who sign up for them. We also want to be able to keep track of each customer contact details. A new Customer Login/Logout tab (button) must be created on the top menu.
4. Need to get rid of design errors, such as current side menu bug. It is based on ActiveX and some browsers don't display it properly as a result. Probably, this issue can be automatically resolved during general redesign process.
5. Add Site Search bar.
6. Add "Publications" tab to the top (horizontal) menu, and create a related blank Publications page. We will fill it ourselves.
7. Add News Feed function and/or button.
8. The website overall and every component must have professional design and performance.
Please specify the platform you think would be the best to transfer the website to.
Obviously, the successful freelancer would have to find and install all necessary modules, scripts, etc. to complete the project.
