I require software to allow an arduino to read a usb signal from a pc running driving simulators and control a servos (either mechanical or digital) relative to the value of that signal. I currently have a program working with the simulator that provides the signal and a wheel and pedal set that receive the signal and display the reading on a digital speedometer. The servo's are required to control a high power circuit and digital servo's would allow for a simpler maintenance free setup that would be more robust.
It may be based in the UK. Somebody else tried this project but couldn't manage without access to the equipment. I am based in Surrey. UK
Software in use - Kart Racing Pro, Assetto Corsa, NetKar Pro, Live for Speed, Ferrari Virtual Academy.
More importantly, the software between the pc and the wheel display is FANALEDS which is free to download and use.
The wheel in use is the Fanatec Elite.
The above text should read mechanical servos or digital POTENTIOMETERS. Sorry
It is Velocity Signal that needs to be translating into a servo signal.
This is all home pc software available on the internet. NO SPECIALIST SOFTWARE OR HARDWARE.
