You are to develop a Graphical User Interface (GUI) that can: 1. Load a spectrum formatted in two columns, the first column is channel number and the second column is total counts per channel 2. Accept from the user the following inputs a. Total time of the measurement b. Two data points of channel and corresponding energy (I.e. E1, ch1 and E2,ch2) 3. Plot the spectrum as energy vs counts/sec [login to view URL] the plotted spectrum for peaks 5. Report the following for every peak found: a. Energy, b. Count rate, c. Full Width Half Maximum (FWHM), d. Resolution, e. Peak efficiency, f. Standard deviation of the peak efficiency 6. Produce a summary file with the information reported above Deliverables 1. The GUI 2. A 2‐3 page user manual for the GUI 3. An one page description to present in class on the GUI
