Order Processing Database creation/ setup

I'm starting a food delivery service similar to [url removed, login to view] All order / transactions will be done through the website (e-commerce, online merchant, whatever you wanna call it - I'm totally willing to just use Paypal "Buy it Now" buttons.

NOTE: I should not give clients login access (username and password ) until AFTER they have paid their membership fee, AND

signed the [url removed, login to view] contract.

One service I'm considering using for the membership management (user logs in with username and password) is [url removed, login to view] Let me know if you think it would be to hard to integrate wildapricot into this program, and if it would be better off to have you create my own membership management .

This is what needs to happen:

CLIENT wants to order food, and CLICKS ON "Become a Member"

1) register personal information (name, address, phone number, email etc)

AND CHOOSE level of membership (Bronze, silver, or gold). And pay membership fee ($25, $50, $200). Can just use Paypal "Buy it Now" button. ([url removed, login to view] integrates paypal

into the website so that it looks and feels like a normal merchant account)

1B) I get a notice in my email that someone has paid for a membership.

2) client receives email confirmation w/ link to sign "Club Membership Agreement"

THIS STEP HAS TO BE MANUAL, because of the electronic document signing program I'm planning on using: [url removed, login to view] I have to manually send a document through email for them to sign. If you know of any other options, please let me know.


3) After signed document is received, member receives another email giving them a temporary username and password,


4) Client goes to sign in members only area, where they can choose their own NEW personalized username

and password.

5) after login with new username/password, client makes FIRST order

The ordering system needs to be in a protected members only directory.

I offer a 5 day program of Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Desserts. Clients choose the meals they want, (they can just order 5 Breakfasts, or 5 Lunches & Dinners.


6) All orders get processed into ONE database. The database has to total everything. For example, it would say. (5 Egg Breakfasts , 3 smoothies, 2 chicken dinners ordered).

7) I need the ability to automatically create a grocery/ shopping/ inventory list each week based on what meals are ordered (for example, an egg breakfast has 3 eggs, and a smoothie has 2 eggs, so with the order in step 6, the grocery list would instruct me to purchase 21 eggs total.

I WOULD ALSO LIKE THE FOLLOWING FEATURES for membership management (compare to [url removed, login to view])

If you don't think you can offer the following, then I will just use


FULL Member self-service

Online credit card payments (by integrating with paypal

email to all members

Define multiple member levels as needed - they determine event registration

fees, renewal fees, premium website content access privileges etc.

Instant text search across the whole database

Export/Import database in Excel format

Automatic email confirmations for new members and renewals

Each member can login and update his/her own member profile

Members can register for events without reentering their data. Correct

registration fee is applied based on member level

Member can recover their own passwords to their email - or administrator can

change password for a member

Automatic renewal, email will be sent when membership is almost over

Event registration (I'm gonna be holding workshops, and want people to sign

up ahead of time)

I was able to find someone who's willing to do the following job for $850 (currency is different in his country). So if you can convince me why I should pay another $150-$350 for your services $1000-$1300 TOTAL- (, I'd be open to hearing what you have to say. Or if you're willing to meet this price, obviously:

Basic Idea - This would be a membership website that will have membership levels. Members will register, confirm through email, pay membership fee, electronically sign the club membership contract and then get access to the members area. I do not want to use docusign.com service, I want it all to be done on my site automatically.

Members Area Details


+ Account Profile (registration information)

+ 5 Day program Ordering System

+ Shopping Cart System to place orders

+ View all Order Placed

+ Event Postings and Registration

Admin will have the ability to control all content, users, membership levels, prices, menu items for sale, pictures etc
Whether it's through a program such as dreamweaver, or directly through the admin control panel:

+ Account Management of all users

+ Admin settings (site name, admin email, and ect)

+ Shopping List based on Orders

+ Mass Email to all users

+ Content Controls (faq's, terms, privacy, and ect)

+ Edit / Suspend / Delete users accounts

+ Full Site Reports

1) First the will register with the website and they will need to enter the "number" provided to ensure the one registering is not a bot,
2)Then they will check their email to confirm their email address so we are double sure its a human registering. In the email, they will click on a link that takes them to a page that thanks them for registering and direct them to the contract page,

Basically the contract signature can be done using ajax (advanced javascript) and fonts. This is pretty much the same thing docusign does but I will not have to pay that $20 a month fee they charge.

3) They will enter their name in a box provided and select the font they wish to use to sign the contract.

When They select their signature, they'll click a check box that says " Adopt this Electronic Signature as my signature * "By clicking the box, I agree the signature and initials I have selected above will be the electronic representation of my signature for all purposes when I use it on documents, including legally binding contracts. I further understand that signing documents using this electronic signature will have the same legally-binding effect as signing my signature using pen and paper."

4)They will get an email where they will click on a link to confirm their email address again (is this step necessary?). This will take them on the contract page. They will then click on "submit/sign contract" and on the next page it will show the contract again with their signature stamped on- using the font they selected. They will then confirm the signature and be directed to the membership levels page.

5) On the membership levels page they will select and pay for their membership after which their account will be active and they can choose a username and password to login.

I want to have a check box next to each menu item for them to choose

Some clients will order only 7 breakfasts for the week. Some will order Breakfast and lunch, etc. The minimum order is 5 days of meals (ex: 5 breakfasts, or 5 lunches, or 5 dinners)

2) I need to be able to update the menu items and pricing regularly


+ Shopping Cart System to place orders

+ View all Order Placed for the week
+ price to pay is adjusted based on check boxes selected
+ shopping list created for ME to know what to purchase at food market.
(for example, if someone orders the egg sausage pancake breakfast, we'll need some math: 1 EggSPanc breakfast x 2 eggs (x1 cup flour ) (x 5 oz turkey meat ), etc.

So from registration - the contract - membership payment, everything is done automatically and not manual.

Other things I need done:

* redo the flash header into javascript so it doesn't take so long to load
* Support free for life. Any bugs or errors I may find will be fixed free of charge. Any questions answered free of charge
* * One web programmer suggested the following: Payment system will be moneybookers, paypal, & egold which will be setup to be enabled or disabled from the admin area.
