Customizations to Ubuntu LiveCD

I am looking for someone who is well versed in Ubuntu LiveCD's. I am in the process of making customizations to the Ubuntu 9.10 LiveCD and would like to assistance in doing some research and getting some questions answered regarding outstanding customizations. I am making the customizations via bash script. The script is far enough along to remaster a LiveCD. Additional changes are required and will need to be researched and added via the coder. I will share the script via Google Doc so we can collaborate and I can review. Coder may be required to examine various existing LiveCD's to determine how a script/setting works. Many of the changes required can be found by examining the source for Remastersys, UCK, etc...

## Deliverables

sample requirements: Which file/setting holds the color for the boot menu in isolinux? Is it possible to dynamically pass the runlevel at boot in isolinux? i.e. The CD's menu can boot to either GUI or Command Line. I know it's possible in grub by adding to runlevel as the last parameter for init. How do you apply a custom Gnome theme and icon set? Once you have a custom [url removed, login to view] file compiled, how do you apply it to the image? Process/commands to make changes to xsplash? Is it possible to have 2 kernels on the LiveCD? i.e. boot the normal ubuntu kernel or the server/alternate kernel? How do you apply custom settings to Nautilus. Specifically, system tools/configuration editor/nautilus/preferences. Uncheck "media_automount". How do you edit/change the Gnome menu? Add/remove shortcuts? How do you remove additional languages so that English is the default and there is no language menu when the CD first boots? How do you name the new LiveCD (both the distro and the ISO image label)? Is it possible to install vmware-tools in the LiveCD? How do you change the LiveCD user name/decription?
