I have a database file that can be opened in Access97. This file contains timing info as well as cue info. I'd like to have a program that would be able to read this info and display an offline view of what is going on.
The program would need to read and understand commands being sent thru the PC's COM port. It will use those commands, as it's timing info. The program would need to have a way to include where in the display window the events are shown and be able to define what the event looks like. It would also need to run side-by-side with another program, so it should be light on memory and processing power.
As a reference you could look at Martin's Lightjocky Program, as it displays an offline view of the lighting cues that you program into it.
Please submit your suggestions as to how viable it would be to create this program.
