Resident is looking for a full redesign of a kitchen located in a very modern 1978 post-and-beam house in the country. The home’s overall style is Frank Lloyd Wright. The current dominant design forces in kitchen are unpainted wooden pine plank ceilings and large dark fir beams (marked in diagram). There is also an exposed brick fireplace that runs through the center of the house and the back that fireplace faces in the kitchen so no cold appliances can go next to it. There are also large expanses of picture windows marked A, B and C on a diagram. The resident doesn't want anything to block the light. The current kitchen has already been gutted to an open space of 263?? by 165?? that now includes what was once a dining room. The resident wishes to open up the space between the kitchen and the living room by adding an island or L-shaped peninsula into the kitchen. The feel should be free-flowing, like a loft.
More details to follow if your bid is approved, as well as a floorplan.

Windows XP and must be viewable on a Mac OSX too. Also, would be great if you included a PDF where applicable.
