Tutorial on Wordpress 2.0 Header Graphic

Project: Create a step-by-step tutorial with screen caps (or Camtasia video) of how to take my custom jpf graphic and make it be the header on my Wordpress 2.1.2 blog. This should be an easy project for someone who knows Wordpress well. It's a simple tutorial to replace the standard Kubrick header with a custom header jpg and resize the table to fit. 1. Needs to be demonstrated on the latest version of Wordpress which is 2.1.2. because the procedure is different than on prior versions. 2. You will use my jpg which is wider than than the normal template size. This is the NEW image I want to use as the header of my blog and the subject of this tutorial: [login to view URL] 3. This is the blog that the new header is to go on: http://marlonsblog.com. I want to retain all the default Wordpress settings on the sidebar. I only want to change the header graphic. 4. You will take the new header jpg, show where to upload it in the wp-content, themes folder so that it will display properly as the new header. 5. You will show how to go to the presenation, themes editor, click header in the side bar to bring up [login to view URL] THEN make the edit necessary to display the jpg. 6. Since the jpg is wider than the default kubrick header, you'll need to show how to edit the [login to view URL] to make it the correct width to accomodate the jpg. You can do this with step-by-step screen caps and written instructions OR you can shoot it with Camtasia video and audio. 7. Tutorials to be done in English. IF video is used must be clear audio and understandable. Alternatively, if you use screen caps and text, it must be step by step so any beginner can follow it -- even if they've never used Wordpress before. 8. If the CSS or anything else needs to be altered, you MUST explain in terms a computer newbie can understand. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully functional tutorial. Header graphic installed on Wordpress on [login to view URL] and table sized to fit properly 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform I run Linux on our server and the standard Wordpress installation.
