We are a small software development company and just installed a Windows 2003 server. We have only one MCSE for Windows 2000 (specialising on SQL2000) and basically no experience with W2003 yet. We have been trying to configure RRAS, but unfortunately not with the success that we were hoping for.
We need to configure a dialup connection (NAT/Basic Firewall) to our ISP that goes online twice a day for about an hour and then automatically goes offline again (we achieved the first one, but it does not go offline automatically).
We also need to be able to connect to the server from the internet via VPN.
Every now and then we need to be able to give a client access to the FTP server, but generally the port should be closed.
We've been looking for information on this but without much success.
We are going to upgrade to ISA server and Exchange in the near future (might need help for this again)
