We are developing an application in which the developing machines are runing Visual Basic 6.0 (Service Pack 4) under Windows XP Professional and Microsoft Office 2000.
The application involves an Admin module and a Client module. The Admin module will create and edit a Microsoft Access .mdb that is password protected and that the Client modules will read, but not write to. The issue is cross-operating system portability. Assume that neither the Admin nor Client operating system is known, but will be within the range: Windows 95-98-2000-NT-XP and may not be the same.
The .mdb has to be creatable and editable by the Admin module and readable by the Client.
Assuming a VB data control, we need any and all distribution dependencies and code to create and open the .mdb.
As with most requests, this may very easy or very difficult and we will be happy to compromise on the bid limits.
1) Complete source code of all work done on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
