EPL to EscPOS conversion

We need to convert our label printing application from EPL to the EscPos standard.

We have a simple Visual Basic 6 application that prints labels to specialized label printers via the parallel port. Information on each label can include barcodes and/or text. The application currently works exclusively with Zebra/Eltron printers according to the EPL standard. Our goal is to extend this to work with as many other label printers as possible. We perceive the best way to achieve this is to convert the code to the EscPos standard.

Primary goals: convert the application to EscPos and allow printing to serial port and USB as well as parallel.

Please do not bid if you have no experience of EscPos
