A very simple problem for an Excel guru. I would like to accomplish the following in an Excel spreadsheet using the Evaluate method.
I have a 3 column range expanding over 100 rows. I would like to take the value from column 1 and put it into some formula in Column 3 (same row) but rather than seeing the formula in the spreadsheet cell, I would like to "Evaluate" so that I only get the values in the cell and not the formula.
An example is Stock symbol and price.
All Stock symbols are in column 1 and I would like to use some stock function to bring in the price from some data source. I do not want to put the formula to do this in the 3rd column, instead I would like only the values to be shown based on the symbol in the corresponding 1st column.
