I have a utility built using VBA and MS Access (ver. 97) that will read a vendor-provided billing file, then parse the data and copy the relevant info into a local Access table. This is just one function of a larger application. I would like to move this utility to ASP.NET C#, but before I do so, I have 2 issues I need addresed with the existing version (read: possible additional work for the right person).
1) Certain records are being excluded from the insert to the local Access table. Need help diagnosing why this is happening.
2) The vendor file content was modified slightly and it is also impacting a particular set of rows that should get inserted into the table but are not.
I have exported all of the code, form and table to a separate Access database and have sample files to use for testing - basically everything you need to understand the process. I will provide this to a select few bidders.
If you have experience with file input/output, know vba and access and are available to work on this soon, please bid.
