This project entails creating a front end ([url removed, login to view]) for a liquid handling robot similar to a Tecan. (You can look at their web site for examples of their GUI.)
The underlying code for moving the motors and devices has already been written ([url removed, login to view]).? We need a very user friendly user inteface which will allow users a graphical view of their work flow.? A well defined list of features which the software must have will be made available.
Familiarity with motion control applications and/or laboratory automation? a plus.
This will be? a long term assignment.? We are looking for someone or? a group which wants to take ownership of this project.? We are willing to negotiate a fee for the work and a royalty per copy sold.? We will also be looking to keep updating the software as new features are required.
The software will need to communicate with? LIMS (Laboratory Information Managements Sytems) and have? very robust error trapping and recovery capabilities.
