The aim of this project is to extract information from a webpage, from within an Excel VBA macro. The html must be parsed rather than the text, as there are form elements that need to be identified. You will need to use regular expressions.
Sample html is attached alongside the desired output. Where the values come from should be obvious by looking at the html.
If you accept the job I will send you the VBA code I have which navigates to the correct page for live testing. You will have to open an account (for free) to perform live testing.
All the data to be extracted comes from [url removed, login to view], from the various tennis pages. Ensure before live testing that you have visited the site in Decimal mode (so that the odds are in eg [url removed, login to view] format rather than -105)
Only the head to head wagers are required, the ones with "VS" is them. Be careful with the players' names, the format sometimes differs. A list of unusual names is attached, though I only really need the last names.
To be extracted:
1) Player 1 name
2) Player 2 name
3) Wager Limit
4) Odds 1
5) Form name 1 (C*P*)
6) Odds 2
7) Form name 2 (C*P*)
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
