This is an in progress visual basic 6 project with a MySQL 4.1 back end for a preventive maintenance program for a manufacturing facility. The program was started by a consultant who is unable to complete the project. The project has changed to use a different data model and needs to be substantially reworked. The project consists of a system that stores details about individual pieces of equipment, the details of the equipment, maintenance schedules for each piece of equipment, tracking the history of the maintenance performed on each machine, storage of the maintenance steps for each machine and a method for storing and tracking ad-hoc maintenance to each machine. The database integrates with a larger data model for other applications within the company.
