I have had a coder working on a project for a while now. It is very near completed. It is a microsoft .net program to generate Quotes, Invoices, and Bills of Lading and then post the invoices to Peachtree after shipping. There ar some quirks to the sales that required that we do this with a custom program/ access database. We are down to a series of remaining issues and I cannot get the coder to understand. One revolves around sales terms. The coder was supposed to import the terms from Peachtree and use the terms to calculate a due date and print the terms on the documents. They are commong out badly as you can see from the attached documents prepared by my customer. There are a couple of simple math errors and a posting problem.
The posting problem is this. The customer heavily modifies the description in the quote line. It is a memo field and requires that they use the enter key to drop down a line to write another part of the note. The trouble is that Peachtree is choking on the carraige return in the description. The Coder changed the way the data is enter and not the description is not printing right. I beleive we can fix this very simply but we have to get this mistake returned to the way ti was so they can produce correct documents.
I am sure we have a few more minor issues as noted on the documents but I beleive we are close to finishing this. The trouble is that we are out of time. I need someone that can do this now.
