PURPOSE: to start using vb.net...currently i am a vb6 coder.
New project with the following items:
1) User defined control with the following features:
Contains a textbox that takes
on the size of the user control.
Has AT LEAST the following exposed properties:
a) Left of the usercontrol.
b) Top of the usercontrol.
c) Width of the usercontrol.
d) Height of the usercontrol.
e) Background color of the textbox.
a) doubleclick event of the textbox
fires an event back on the form.
Call this user control: UCX.
2) Form that has 2 UCX controls painted on it,
and a button.
When the button is pushed is saves the data to
any table any sqlserver database
The controls MUST NOT be attached to the
underlying database directly. In other words,
you must execute a sql statement from your code.
Do not use the sql controls, use the ones that
allows any db type(i think they are called ole...,
code that works, no comments.
