Add, modify, delete Outlook 2007 Contacts from VB.net code/Redemption 4.5? in Winform.
Loading Outlook Contacts into db initially? is slow
Keeping Outlook in sync with MSSQL db.
1. Keeping MSSQL db? in constant sync with Outlook, without modifying Outlook session.? That is, no programming WITHIN Outlook... just accessing it from VB.net code/Redemption
a.? This requires tracking Outlook events to know when Contact has been added, modified, deleted in Outlook, then getting the contact information for updating MSSQL.? Actually, just getting the collection index number of the affected contact is enough.? If it is not a deletion, then just updating the corresponding MSSQL record is sufficient.? If a deletion, then removing the record from MSSQL, and renumbering from there to the end of the collection table.
**Stumbling Blocks** for me, in my ignorance[g].
1.? Can't find Outlook events for adding, deleting, modifying Outlook Contacts. As mentioned, I need these and the affected contact index number? to keep MSSQL in sync.
