VB and PHP - simple job using either XMLRPC or SOAP

The task: To send a booking request using XML-RPC or SOAP from a booking system (BS) to a central server (CHAM Server) that listens to requests from multiple booking systems over the internet. Then to send a confirmation back from the CHAM server to the booking system. The requests sent will be fairly simple. Example: MakeBooking(BookingServerID, userID, BookedResourceID, StartTime, Endtime) The CHAM server is a VB6 application that listens on a certain port. The CHAM Server receives these requests, makes the booking locally and sends the result back to the originating server. For example: BookingMade(BookingServerID, userID, BookedResourceID, StartTime, Endtime, ConfirmationID) For our initial tests, we can assume that the booking system is written in PHP. We need a simple PHP page where we can fill in the above variables. This page should then call a remote procedure on the CHAM server that will make the booking. We also need a simple module in VB that does the other side of this task and calls the VB function "MakeBooking:. The VB6 CHAM server will then send a request back to the PHP based booking server saying the booking has been made. Skills required: PHP, Visual Basic, XML-RPC or another standard method of simple communication between different systems. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
