The project needs to use VB6 & an .mdb file. I need to have a common dialog that will allow the directory to automatically load. Supply Source Code
I need a frame with a check box for each field we would want to look up. From the check boxes, I want to be able to select up to 8 of the boxes...but will probably be selecting less...but 8 needs to be the max if needed. Each time I select a box, a number will appear to the left of it indicated it was either the first through the 8th selection. The search then begins with the 1st number being most significant.
Also, there is one field in the data base called Possession. There are two choices...either O or X. I would only want to select on one or the other. So I option box may be needed.
The program then would list record 1 (which would be preceeded by the number of records found for selectec choice 1). Then underneath to the right would be selected choice 2 (preceeded by the number of records found for selected choice 2. Now the tricking part is that selected choice 2 may have different data. So the program needs to look at selected choice 2, seperate it from highest to lowest of like values then list the highest value through the lowest)....Then once that has been found, then selected choice 3 should be to the right of selected choice 2 and search performed like on selected choice 2 and so on through the number of selected choices.
Someone said this is easy to do is sql but I just don't know it.
Finally, I need to be able to print the found records in the format that I just described.
The form name should be playdata.bas.
I have attached a sample .mdb file and a outline of what the final output should be like the attached file remember that the order could be Backfield, Formation the Play or any other combination of the fields selected.
