Basically what I need is a little app or add-in for QuickBooks 2007/2008 to capture the events that adds or updates an invoice so that I can alter the totals of those records in near real-time. This means that it needs to appear in real-time.
Completing this project will require experience in the QB SDK and the QBFC or qbXML. This is not something that can just be picked up by anyone as integrating with Quick Books requires some knowledge and prior hands-on. If you have done a project that subscribed to a QB data event that responded/changed data, then this will be VERY easy. It will not be for anyone else.
All I need is the working prototype. A small out-of-process app that subscribes to and listens for the invoice update/add data events and then can add $1.00 to the invoice and then display a message box.
I need this little app and any companion COM components to be written in C#.Net or VB.Net.
A summary of what is needed is in the summary. No other details are needed at this time. Someone experienced in doing this kind of work in Quick Books and the QB SDK will immediately understand the scope.
Thanks for your help!
