Who we need:
We are looking for a programming company with a proven track record and stability to create our project version 1.0 and we need to be confident your company will be around a while to create future updates and new releases as they are needed.
I-reader is a new system for newsletter delivery where a separate newsreader program resides on the subscribers desktop. The idea is to make newsletter delivery easier for publishers and eliminate spam for recipients. I-reader uses VPM push technology similar to Instant Messenger and will be constructed in visual basic. I-reader will need to be compatible with all Microsoft operating systems from win95. The project consists of creating a downloadable client that will reside on the users desktop as well as an entire online backend system written in php, this includes our main admin, publisher’s admin and general website functionality for users. Upon bid acceptance we will provide you with all materials including the look and functions of I-reader as well as an in depth representation of how the site will work.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
