This is a simple database application designed to track the number of and types of contacts that our employees have with our clients.? ? We have approximately 70-75 employees performing these contacting duties.? There are between 50 and 100 new clients each day.? Each client will be contacted at least 10 times over a period of 2 to 4 months or longer.
The data for each day’s 50 to 100 new clients will be imported into the app each morning from an Excel spreadsheet.? Each of 4 Team Leaders will then pull up a report that shows which clients are scheduled to be phoned on that day and the time that call is to be made.? The report will also show what type (of 6 types) of phone calls the client is scheduled to receive that day.
? As the day progresses, employees will phone call those clients that have been assigned by the Team Leader to that employee.? The application will be used by the employee to record attempts and completions of these phone calls throughout the day.? Also, each time that an employee contacts a Client, there will be two events recorded.? The employee will record in the app whether or not the Client had received an email that was sent out prior to the phone call.? Then, the conversation will conclude by the employee scheduling the date and time for the next phone call with the Client.? The emailing task is NOT a part of this application.
The Team Leader will be able to run reports at any time which will show the scheduled Client contacts that have been Completed, Missed or Pending.? There will be an Hourly version of the report that will show this data on an hourly basis.? There will also be a Daily version that will show this data for any date range selected by the Team Leader.
This will be a web-based application that will be hosted on a 3rd party server.? The 3rd party will be either [url removed, login to view] or 1and1.com.? We prefer that this be done in vb.net with Access or SQL as the database.? The database configuration needs to allow for possible changes in the future.? These might be items such as other types of contacts (Chat, IM, Fax, etc.) or additional information in the Client’s account page.
