I am creating a client - server side secure tunneling system. The system is similar to commercial ones available like the service from [url removed, login to view]
Basically the proxy 'server' side of the program resides on a remote server and it will get all the data from a requested web site, encrypt it's contents and send the data the the 'client' side of the program which resides on a user's PC. The 'client' would then decrypt the data and display the contents of the website on the user's browser screen. The service should also allow the user to securely forward ports, (eg: if the user wants to make a secured telnet connection the 'server' would telnet to the destination host and encrypt all the received plaintext and forward it back to the user where the 'client' would decrypt it.) It works basically the same way the HTTP proxy would but it doesn't require HTML headers processing.
The developer must be very experienced with Windows development, TCP/IP and proxy servers. Good communication (and English) is also necessary.
Basically I have completed about 70% of the software development. The encryption module is available already but I need someone who can help me integrate it by passing the winsock data as 'string' through the module so that it can be encrypted and then decrypted at the remote end.
The http proxy part is still a very buggy that's why I need someone who is experienced with http proxy programming.
The program MUST be written in VB 6.0. I will send you the neccessary files as I have done the interface and started work on the project already. I can assure you we will be in constant contact and I will guide you to what you have to do.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Comments to be added to the codes wherever possible so that I can explain it easily.
3) Exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site).
Must work on all (if possible) MS Windows platforms and the coding must strictly be continued in VB6.0 where I left off. I believe Winsock programming in VB6.0 should be a piece of cake for most people.
