This is an easy one for anyone with VB.net experiance. I need code to put on my text box so that whenever the "Return" key is pressed, '<'BR'>'
& VBnewline is put in.
*CODE MUST BE IN VB.NET*
I have tried:
Private Sub TxtDescription_OnKeyDown(ByVal KeyCode As Integer, ByVal Shift As Integer)
If KeyCode = 13 Then [url removed, login to view] = [url removed, login to view] & "
" & vbNewLine
As was suggested by another VB user. It does not work when implemented, but it should give you an idea of exactly what I am trying to do.
Let me clarify somthing: this text box is for entering text that will eventually go into a HTML capable web app. The
is so the html browser will see a carriage return. So as the user types and presses 'Return', the box should put in
and a carriage return.
PLEASE try your code before contacting me. You MUST try your code in VB.NET as older versions of VB code do not always work in VB.NET.
DO NOT submit anything or contact me unless you have tried your code and it WORKS! I am wasting alot of time trying out junk code people send me. Thx.
