We need to create a software system in vb.Net 2005 that will allows us to manage “In-Store Radios??. Our company will offer the “radio?? service to different stores. ?
The system must be client server. In each store we will have a small PC that will download, during the night, new contents and will play it during the day.
We need a server management console in win32 with these functionality:
1)? ? ? ? ? Stores management
In this section an administrator can create a new “store??. When a new store is inserted the administrator must also specify the “genres?? preferences for the store for each daypart. For example: from 8.00 AM to 10.00 AM Classic, from 10.00 AM to 12.00 AM Pop, etc..?
2)? ? ? ? ? Genres Management
In this section the administrator will define the list of genres?
3)? ? ? ? ? Music and contents (spot and jingles)
In this section an administrator can add new content.? For music content the administrator must also select the preferred start point (for example after 30sec that the songs is started) and the preferred end point. Each music content must also have a genre and a rating (1 to 10).
The administrator can also add Jingle Content and Spot contents. By adding this contents the administrator must also specify the store(s) for which this spot/jingle is valid
4)? ? ? ? ? Log Viewer
In this section the administrator can verify that all remote clients has been updated during the night.
When the remote client connect (during the night), an automatic playlist must be generated, selecting automatically the songs (by rating, genres, etc) and the other contents.
The client must work completely unattended. Is very important that the songs will be mixed during the playback at the end point and start point specified when the file is inserted, with no mute bewtween songs
For the server management console, we need also to create a pendrive with a new playlist for a specific store (for the stores that cannot access to the internet).
We want to use SQL Express 2005 as Databse on the server. On the client can be use SQL Express 2005 or Access databases (if a database is needed)
These are the guide lines but we will evaluate your proposal. Please include detailed description of your “project view?? with your bids.
