This is some small string manipulation code I need in VB 6 for a personal project. Not sure if this can be done.
I need a single string to be searched for the words "The warrior" or "the warrior" and have that be replaced by a variable array with a previous random element determined beforehand, in this case, the variable wan(n) (or the variable that will hold the warrior's name).
So if wan(4), assuming the random number was 4, holds the name: Sunil Axegrinder, I want the phrase: The warrior plans on a vacation soon (which is read in via a sequential text file beforehand), to be changed to: Sunil Axegrinder plans on a vacation soon, using string manipulation commands in VB6 (SP5).
Code should be ready to use. Code should be sort of ready so that I can test it and see if works before payment, if possible.
