I require a program which uses the TAPI controls in windows 2000/xp. We have an Avaya Argent Office (same controls as IP Office). And would like the following;
a visual basic app which resides in the system tray;
when a call is received the system tray icon is to flash
if the user clicks on the icon a URL is opened which contains
the CLI as part of a URL.
the system tray should then stop flashing if its been clicked on it times out. If another call comes in then it should repeat the entire process.
Ideally I'd like to capture;
the CLI of the caller
the line/numer which was called
and the extension that has accepted the call
(any any other information that can be easily obtained)
And I'd like to pass the request to answer/pickup the call.
The URL should be held in a registry key with keywords to define where the merge will take place with the CLI/etc
the registry and merge code can be supplied.
The application must also have a configuration to define what TAPI profile is currently being used -
In Addition (perhaps) if someone can create a DHTML style popup to appear from the system tray with the callers information this may be better - it will have to not set the focus away from the current application (e.g. word) but appear on-top.
this could replace the need to flash the taskbar icon.
The information would simply show a string with merge fields; e.g.
New caller <cli> calling on <line>.. click here to accept.
user clicks on the DHTML style box, accepts the call, then opens a URL with the data. - DHTML box goes away.
(if user doesn't click on box, after 3 secs it fades out or similar)
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
