HELP Repair and modify existing VB project that another coder didn't complete to specs.
Control should work with all styles of VB and VB XP forms and take into account of existing standard buttons (Maximize, Retsore, What's This, etc...). Control should also support MDI and MDI child forms.
The new button(s) placement should start to the immediate left of existing buttons with individual margin settings. The new buttons should support tooltips and emulate the command and checkbox states of a command button with PictureUp and Picture Down properties. You should also be able to add and remove individual buttons when desired.
The control should use its own internal image list and/or accept images from a VB Picturebox and/or file. (I added the and/or for clarity). It also needs to support ICO, BMP, JPG image formats.
Ownerdrawn caption and background capabilities would be nice, but not required. You should note this in the bid.
**The stage the work is currently in allows you to add buttons from a File and Picture box and doesn't do proper placement.
An internal image lmagelist needs to be added. (Not Microsoft's)
Needs to recognize what buttons are currently displayed and place new buttons accordingly.
Button State needs to be able to be set after it is added.
First button left margin property needs to be exposed.
The images need to have the capability of being added at design time via the image list. Images also need to have the capability of being selected by key or index and support mouse enter and mouse leave events.
Properties need to fixed so they can be edited at Design Time.
I do have sample code of an actual imagelist.
