I used to use Eudora. It had a feature to Manually run filters, run filters on incoming mail, run filters on outgoing mail or any combination thereof.
There is no such feature in Outlook 2002 nor 2003 from what I can tell. They only support running filters when mail is received.
I need a macro that will go thru my inbox and file my mail by moving it into the appropriate folder based on who sent it to me - the FROM: field. If a folder doesn't exist, just leave it in the inbox.
The macro should also be able to go thru my outbox and file my sent mail by moving it into the appropriate folder based on whom I sent it to. - the TO: filed. If a folder doesn't exist, just leave it in the inbox.
I'm hoping this is a trivial applications of VB or VBA or someone can just show me how to do this w/o macros.
This macro must run on Outlook 2003 (beta/trial edition). If you test it on 2002 and it doesn't work, it won't be considered finished. I can share test results on 2003 if debugging is necessary.
Why do this project since its such as small job?
