This project entails two main changes to osCommerce. The intent is to use osCommerce as the basis for a cell phone store with similar, but not identical functionality, to [url removed, login to view]’s “Cell Phones & Services” section.
The first change, and the most challenging of the two, will deal with how a customer purchases a cell phones with a service plan. The second change will be to the checkout process. It will allow for a service provider specific terms of service agreement. That’s a mouth full, but basically, a customer purchasing a Verizon service plan would have to agree to the Verizon terms of service agreement. Attached is a pdf file with full details.
