I am looking for someone who can build the following application for us.
First let me start by stating that if I could build this application I would but since I am not able to I am here asking for bidders that will held us to fulfill a dream.
This site is to aid volunteers who want to assist needy children.
Every year Post Offices around the world receive letters from children addressed to Santa Claus at the North Pole.
The post office has always put these into the dead mail pile and way back in the 1920's some postal workers in New York started reading the letters and found that many of the letters were not what you may expect them to be.
These were not all letters listing dozens of toys and the latest gadgets being touted in the department stores. Some of those wonderful children scribbled out messages that would even melt the most hardened of hearts. These postal workers read stories of young children asking for a pair of shoes for their mommy that didn't leak in water while she stood at the bus stop going to work each day because the only pair she owned had many holes. And little boys would ask for a small toy not for himself he could do without again this year but his little sister was so hurt last year when there was no present for her on Christmas day.
Those postal workers started taking the letters and they would help to fulfill some small child's Christmas wish by sending a package to them. and the practice grew and there are now organizations all across America that participate in helping to answer Santa's Mail.
My Friend told me there was no such program in his community and that he could participate in and that he wished there was something he could do. After a little research and surfing the internet it occurred to me that there was something that could be done and I felt the need to help my friend with his Christmas wish.
