site redevelopment in php MySQL

We are seeking help in getting the static info @ [login to view URL] dynamic. We have php/MySQL in mind and the necessary design elements and ouputs can easily be inffered from the static pages. Suggestions to link up and make all resources at the site searchable from multiple MySQL databases are most welcome. Help is sought only for the design of the datatabase and output structure and pages, and we plan to handle data entery inhouse. Use of scripts is expected to be minimal and the emphasis is in optimal multiple search (including text search) and output options with minimum possible clutter of multiple dropdown menus. Acess will remain restricted to subscibers currently handled manually with .htaccess and suggestions to upgrade that and handle free trial subscriptions are also welcome. In addition, mimum number of page templates is envisaged and file size is of paramount importance.
