Job Description:
We are a marketing company. We need proposals on creating something like [url removed, login to view] for our client, but deals with sports and is localized. They would like it sleek and simple, but still complex enough to be able to handle all of the functions of the site.
The basic concept is fantasy sports (much like fantasy football) online. Campuses can compete with each other. It will have live feeds of las vegas spreads. X amount of teams will be listed for the week.
College students will sign in using their email address. They will register who they think is going to win. It will be based on a whole point system. They will get one point if they win.
It will have RSS feeds that will stream info. All stats will be updated each morning. Students won’t pay anything. Ad space would run the site financially.
Intramural sports (sports game between people that are not on the school team) would also be voted on. Somebody local would update this section.
Any fantasy template will work.
No fantasy. Just sports.
It will also have a forum where members can chat, it will have articles, and updates on the games.
Please have a very good knowledge of sports. Experience with this kind of site is a definite plus.
