This website will be fully automated and interactive to deliver to its members a programme of personalised resistance and cardio exercises, nutritional menu plans and options plus offering a vast and varied range of fitness exercise classes in order to achieve each members set goals. The site will report on progress by way of regular input from the member and update of vital statistics and then compare against the set goal and show an estimated number of weeks to achieve target subject to the number of sessions per week that the member has agreed to.
The site will use a chosen character to appear on screen from time to time to motivate the member to push on towards the set goal. Also the Company will run incentive programmes and competitions which will require an automatic award of points for various actions and achievements and to inform the member of his position/rank.
A talking character will appear on the loading of most pages to convey relevant information for the page. The videos for this will be supplied by us. An e-commerce shop with related products will also be required as will a growing categorised list of FAQ. The site will initially consist of 9 public pages and 17 members only pages.
When the member signs up for monthly, quarterly, 6 monthly or annual membership they will have to complete a member profile, choose a level of motivation, set their goal, indicate the number of weekly sessions they will commit to, list any injuries which they are not able to exercise, indicate what equipment they have access to both at home and in the gym, complete a fitness test and input the results. The member will have access to amend or update the profile at any time during the programme but will not be able to change the set goal prior to completing the programme without approval.
From all the above data the member will be shown the number of sessions and weeks estimated to achieve the goal. The member will also be reminded when to take measurements and input these in order to keep a check on progress. Each new session will be displayed to show the member exactly what is required. Subject to where the member chooses to exercise will determine what equipment is available and therefore what exercises can be used for that session.
From the detailed programme of exercises displayed for that session the user can click on the exercise and view a video, written text and two still images showing how the exercise should be performed. The member will be able to download to hand held media and print text and images relating to the session. When the sessions for that day are completed the user will have to input their results and close that day's sessions before receiving details for the next day's session(s). Each completed session will be recorded and timestamped in order to assist in selecting exercises to be undertaken to rotate exercises around the body and to check and report on progress.
The nutritional menu plan and options for each day will pop up on screen when the member logs in or selects from the navigation bar and will have the facility to print off. This nutritional menu plan with options will run from a software package. The variables to be input into the software programme will be generated from calculations based on the member's data and set goal.
