Website Design w/ CMS

Universal Slate International, Inc. is a large importer of stone tile and slabs. We are looking to have our website re-made to be more helpful for our clients. Our current website is [login to view URL] and the new website will be in that domain. We currently are number one or two on Google for a variety of search terms. These include “Slate Tile”, “Limestone Tile”, “Glass Tile”, “Travertine Tile”. We need to keep these search rankings. Essentially, what we are looking for is an e-commerce/product catalogue site that is database driven. The only difference is that the e-commerce portion of it will not be for placing credit card orders but will instead be a way for registered users to order product samples, free of charge. i.e. user’s will register on the site as licensed contractors/designers/distributors and will have the “sample order” portion of the page available to them. The “sample order” portion will work just like a shopping cart and when the user wants to “check out”, an email will be sent to our company indicating a sample request. We currently have approximately 300 different stone products that we would like to display in a catalogue format similar to NixonNow.com. Attached are mockup pages based on [login to view URL] that I would like to have the site built to look like. The different products will be separated into different categories such as Tile, Slab, Mosaics, etc. and will each be listed under sub categories such as Slate, Limestone, Travertine, etc. and then further sub-categories of South India, North India, China, Brazil, etc. as per the mockups. In addition to the attached mockup pages is a more detailed description of the project and the requirements of the website. We are looking to have this work completed in two weeks time (14 days).
