Our client has a blog created with but wishes to have a more unique interface to it rather than the standard wordpress look.

The desired look should be closer to a web site, than a blog. Any helpful suggestions as to how to jazz up an other wise boring interface welcome. Maybe something groundbreaking can be achieved.
