To extend an existing Visual Studio Orcas Addin two more features have to be implemented. The first one is simple: Add a margin-line at 80 characters with a transparent blue color rgba(0, 0, 255, 64). This line should always be visible in all text editors in Visual Studio. Then a more complex feature has to be implemented. After each method (it is sufficient if it only implemented at one single method) a little 32x32 pixel icon is drawn (covering 2 lines, which is fine because the line below a method is free to use). When clicking (or hovering if possible) this image it gets expanded and shows the big image. The 2 example images from the picture above can be used for testing. The addin will be provided (current name is CommenterAddin) and it does already some basic things (hotkeys, adding comments, etc.). The addin should: - Still be compatible with Visual Studio Orcas (currently Beta1). - Add the margin line as described above. - Add icons after methods and allowing to click on them to show the whole image. - Optional: For the storage of the image a project directory like \CommenterImages could be used - Optional: Selecting and adding images to methods for commenting is possible (+ button or select button somewhere) Only the source code for this plugin is required. You can also place a bid if you are only willing to implement the margin line feature, please say so in your bid text.
