This is an automation project.
I want to export data out of an Online Email Software / Database called SendStudio and convert it into a .csv file.
The automation can either be a separate php script that extracts the data from outside of the online application or a program that sits on top of the online application and automates the key strokes.
Here are the basic steps to the Export Process (to be automated - or achieve the same results)
Click Export Subscribers
Select List to export from
Select a Before and After date to select the data for a specific time period
Select the fields (default all fields) and the field separator "|" (pipe character not a comma because the data has comma's in it and the export file is not formatted correctly)
Perform the Export
Download the export file
Import export file into Excel
Format phone number field
Save a .csv file
That file is then used in a Word Merge document to print out individual Contact Sheets.
The data is stored in a MySQL database.
SendStudio is programmed in php.
