This spec is to create a component from derive TComponent that will change the background color of all TCustomedit components on the form. A total of 4 colors will be used. Depending if the user is in Insert/Edit/Normal/Search mode.
Active property Turn Component Off/On
DatasetMode property Integer Value 0 = Normal, 1 = Insert, 2 = Edit, 3 = Search
Edit color property
Insert color property
Search color property
Windows **default** color property (Normal)
This component will use the default property in the component to set the color if **NO** INI entry is not found to specify otherwise. When the form is closing the current property value will be writing to the INI file.
An INI value will also be written if the component is to be On/Off the default is ON. When the Form closes the current setting will be written to an INI entry.
When the component is drop on the form it will automatically create a component list of the components that had Tcostomedit as a base. Like the DBGrid control I want the option to delete any components I do not want in the list or add component.
