I need the ability to display a windows form, or rather, the image of a windows form on top of a windowed or fullscreen DirectX game.
The image shown needs to be updatable - not a fixed "image" as in some examples on the net
I already have a C++ example that does exactly what is required, but I do not understand enough c++, nor have the time to learn, to convert the "exe" example, into a DLL I can then access from C#.
This example is attached to this post.
Basically, if you can create a dll that I can pass a windows form to, and it gets displayed as an "overlay", exactly as in this example, I'll be happy :)
Preferably, I would like the DLL to be written in C#.
If not, then the code should be very well documented, as I will like to learn from it.
Minimum requirement is that the overlay MUST appear over the "Battlefield 2" and "Battlefield 2142" games released by "Electronic Arts".
I can provide a copy of either of these games for testing purposes if needed.
If you have any questions regarding this, please email me as I'll be happy to discuss it.
