I need a program to do a kind of document management. The program must Open the proper application (like MS Office) let user make changes and save it. Upon saving/exiting the application (MS Office), the program saves the document properties on a SQL server. Properties to save are name, date, version, revision, where it is saved and some fields like an auto generated sequence number, user name, document title, editor, creator, and so on. It also must save the whole document as text into a SQL server.
1- The code can be written in any language but must run on Windows XP and up.
2- Must work with MS Office 2003 and up, Corel Office 12 and up, Adobe acrobat 8 and up.
3- Can be browser based or desktop or both.
4- Running on Mac and iPhone or other PDA is a plus or can be priced separately.
