This will be two command-line utilities. Both utilities operate on a text file describing a dream. The dream description is regular text in a regular old ASCII 8 bit text file. After starting one of the command line utilities, the program creates an output report with the same name as the original text document, but with a different extension.
The first report is an analysis of the dream. It produces an output text file called <DREAMSOURCEFILEBASENAME>.interp.txt. The software identifies subconscious thoughts trying to surface by identifying puns, symbols etc. within the dream description. The developer is encouraged to create a suitable algorithm based on archetypes typically seen within dreams.
The second utility scans the dream description for a list of future events predicted (usually symbolically) within the dream. This produces an output text file called <DREAMSOURCEFILEBASENAME>.[url removed, login to view] It is important that the software identify all of the future events latent within the dream, without identifying any elements as predictions which will not come true. In other words, the software must correctly identify all future predictions without indicating any "false positives".

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

(No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
The developer is free to choose any readily available platform (Macintosh, UNIX, Linux, Windows, etc.) The programming language choice is also up to the developer. C++, C#, Java, [url removed, login to view], Lisp or Cobol (not with punch cards though) can be used for this project (or any other suitable language). Platform/Language are flexible, but all project files must be included so it can be easily compiled/built.
